Dr. Riti Shah is a Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon practicing exclusively Anorectal Surgery in South Mumbai.

She is highly trained from esteemed institutes and with eminent Anorectal surgeons in Mumbai, India. After passing her MBBS from D Y Patil Medical College (MUHS) in 2008, she pursued General Surgery and trained from Sir H.N. Hospital & Research Centre. She chose to master the subject of Anorectal Disorders in 2011. She trained with Dr P N Joshi, professor and teacher in Anorectal Diseases at Bhatia General Hospital and also with Dr Kiran Shah. She was a Surgical registrar in Dept of GI Surgery at St Johns Institute, Bangalore. 

She then became the first officially trained Colorectal surgeon and completed a year fellowship in Colorectal Surgery (MUHS) at the prestigious Saifee Hospital under Dr Parvez Sheikh, Dr Kiran Shah and Dr Prajesh Bhutta.

She began her private practice in year 2015 with attachments at Saifee Hospital, Bhatia Hospital and Apollo Spectra (Tardeo). Dr Riti is very compassionate towards her patients and their problems with highest level of skills in this subject. For her, her patient’s relief from their illness is the prime goal.

She has an experience of more than 10 years. She is an expert in Surgical and Non Surgical management of Fissure, Piles, Fistula, Perianal Abscess and other Anorectal Disorders. She is affiliated to renowned hospitals in Mumbai such as Saifee Hospital, Bhatia Hospital, Apollo Spectra Hospital, ACI Cumballa Hill Hospital and St Elizabeth Hospital. She is a member of the ASI (Associations of Surgeons of India) as well as the ACRSI (Associations of the Colon and Rectal Surgeons of India).
